Student Publications, 1943-Present, 1943 - 2018
Scope and Contents
The LIM College Records document the history of LIM. The materials date from 1871 to the present, but the bulk of the records begins in 1940. While there is limited material on the actual business of founding the College, there is a large amount of materials on the day-to-day life of LIM seen through correspondence between the staff, students, and outside businesses. The later records give the history of LIM through materials produced by the College. The types of material contained in the records are correspondence, applications, brochures, publications, newsletters, handbooks, factbooks, and newspaper clippings.

Abstract
This series contains various publications created by the students of LIM. While the older publications are not in newspaper format, that was the original mission. Please note that after 1956, LIMLight became the school yearbook. The most current student periodical is Lexington Line, a magazine that covers fashion, beauty, culture, and life at LIM. All work is written and edited by students. The Lexington Line gives students a chance to publish their original writing and photography while engaging with New York City and the fashion industry at large. In addition to the print issue, published each semester, the Lexington Line blog widens its reach through frequent online articles.
